How many quarts of oil does a Chevrolet 4.3 liter
V6 take

My GM info source says your 2012 Chevy 4.3 liter engine will take 4.5 quarts of motor oil during a change, and that includes the filter. Check it after running it a few minutes, and check for leaks.

I put 5qts in my 93 s-10 4.3 engine.Should I try to let out a half of qt. or would it hurt to leave it in. Thanks
