Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it just a matter of removing the top crossmember of the radiator support or is there a lot more to do?
thanks.

You may not need to move the crossmember assembly at all. Check to see if the cooling fan assembly is bolted into the radiator mounting bracket from the back (facing the car, look down into the cooling fan assembly for bolts visible). The 1996 Intrepids were designed this way and they are mechanically similar.
