How to get a key replacement and approximate cost?

I just purchased a 2013 Audi Q5 with only one key. Is it difficult to get another
key and what cost should I expect ?

First off try a locksmith, if they have the hardware that will be the cheapest way, last one I did was at hundred bucks but that was precovid. If you can’t find a locksmith then you stuck with the dealer if they will even work on it, and they won’t be cheap, I’ve heard people say key ran 3 to 500 bucks at the dealership.

Have whatever shop or dealer you choose provide a written estimate before turning the car over to them to perform the work.
