I drained the oil in my 89 gmc seirra 1500
2wd and is was very thin and smelt like has ..
the reason i drained it was because it was
way over filled for some reason ... ehy is this

I think you have a leaking injector which filled up the crankcase with gas.

Probably TBI injectors flooding , bad fuel pressure, bad injector, bad o ring, they can piss fuel into the bores and then they leak into crankcase past rings.

Change the oil immediately and fix the leak before you ruin the engine.
