on so I changed the rear abs speed sensor and
nothing. then my brake pedal was spongy so I changed
the brake booster and master cylinder and still the
lights remain on. Then I changed the abs module, abs
pump, and the proportioning valve AND STILL
NOTHING.. I'm so close in lighting this truck on .

Is the ABS light still one? Did you scan for the ABS codes with a code scanner that can read ABS codes? Is that why you replaced the rear speed sensor? What code do you have now?
With the ABS light on and the engine running you need to scan the ABS system for trouble codes. Each time you shut off the ignition the ABS computer is cleared. Once you have the code you can find the problem. Hope that helps! Jim
I have a obd2 scanner but it doesn't come up..it says abs not equip.

I have a 1990 Dakota Sport (pre OBD) that had the same problem. It turned out to be an intermittent wire short between the Diff and the ABS module.
You need a scan tool that will communicate with the ABS computer. Jim
Visit your local auto parts store and ask if they have a scan tool that will communicate with the ABS computer. If they do they'll probably scan it for free. Most stores will. Hope that helps! Jim
Does my 2000 dodge dakota sport 4.7l have a ebcm? And if so.. Where is it, I've looked everywhere!!! HELP.!!!
ECBM stands for Electronic Brake Control Module and if you have ABS, you have one. It's usually near the master cylinder. Yours is Cardone part number 12 10269 and looks like this. Hope that helps! Jim
It's not cheap so make sure that's the problem before you replace it!! Jim
