Radio has black screen, no sound from turning signals

I think that year, all the sounds from the dash come thru the radio. Could be as simple as a blown fuse.
Thanks. I've tried replacing the fuse, but it wasn't blown.
Unfortunately, no. I guess it was completely dead. I had to get a new radio.
Mine just did the same thing. What was wrong with it? How did you fix it?
Apparently there was some sort of module blown. I ended up having to replace the entire radio. It was going to cost about $1400 to have the radio replaced through Chevrolet - very expensive system. I decided to replace with a Sony touchscreen through my local Best Buy. That was about $500.
Here's an update on "Radio has black screen, no sound from turning signals" issue: I took it to my mechanic yesterday morning. He checked the fuses, etc. - all were okay. He said he couldn't see anything broken with the radio/speakers. He asked to try a "hard reset" on the radio, explaining it to me as kind of like rebooting a computer. He did it and my radio screen is back on, and all interior car sounds have been restored. Only had to reset the Date/Time all saved channels still set. He charged me $22.00. So far, so good.
Mine just did the same this morning except my radio screen isn't black. The turn signals are flashing but no sound, same for seat belt warning. Overall the car has been cheap to maintain but I swear every 6 months its something. Still cheaper than new though.
