Oil consumption high and wheel bearings worn at 29.000 miles on my 2015
Forester. The car since new uses a quart of oil between each scheduled oil
change, I complained but they told a story about manuel cars using more.
Rubbish!
Now the Baring have worn at 29.000 must be a record?

take this automobile back to the main dealer and get it fixed under warranty do not attempt it yourself
Oil consumption has been a problem for Subaru, a serious problem. Using a quart between oil changes is not bad nor would I think excessive for that particular vehicle. If you had done some serious research before buying that vehicle chances are you would have elected not to buy it. Wheel bearings at 29,000 miles is not good, get it repaired and hope nothing else goes to heck on it.
Subaru has that high oil consumption problem. There was a class action law suit. Tell them you want an oil consumption test. They will replace the short block if it fails the test. I had the same issue with my Impreza from new. Finally they took care of it at 80000 miles.
