Remote Start Doors will not unlock 2015 Forester

When I start my Forester 2015 via remote start, the doors will not unlock. Nor
can I use the remote shutdown (by holding lock button). This is the keyless
fob version.

The only way I can get in my car is to eject and use the physical key which
sets off the alarm, even if it is disabled. It is like the car ignores fob
commands whenever the engine is running after being remote started.

Other than this the fob and all remote features work fine. I can unlock my
doors, open the back, whatever. Just not after remote starting. Ideas?

Factory - I don't know if it helps but I have the XT2.0 Touring trim. I have every feature on it except for the AC outlet.
