I have a 2001 Ford Escape 3.0l V6. When idling, it sputters (rpm drops below 500) . When Im driving and try to speed up, it sputters (even on an incline).

The IAC valves were replaced. All 6 coil-on-
plugs were replaced.

P0305 is misfire at cylinder #5. Possible causes are, bad spark plug, bad coil on plug at cylinder #5. If it were mine I first would change the sparkplugs than I would move the #5 coil to to another cylinder to see if the miss and related code moves. If the miss doesn't move I would suspect the #5 fuel injector. Also if you replaced the coils with non Ford aftermarket parts there maybe issues with those.

Replace coil packs and plugs check plug gap replace with the manufacturer parts clean connectors add dielectric Lube and this should solve your problem
