2005 KIA Sorrento lx over heating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My 2005 KIA Sorrento is over heating. Changed
the thermostat and radiator. Still running hot.
Think it might be the water pump but it isn't
leaking any coolent. Does anyone know if the
water pump has its own in casement since its
behind the timing belt. Or should it leak?

It doesn't need to leak in order for it to be bad, did you flush the system before you changed the radiator and thermostat. Did you bleed the system and check the radiator cap...

From What I understand, its self bleeding. It only has a overflow hose that goes to the coolant reservoir But I squeezed the hoses time and time again for days. As far as flushing anything, I just put new coolent through.
You have a crack in You Radiant resivor then when it heat up it deals. Dealer Will say crack Head gasket.....

Just to let you know the water pump has plumbing that comes out the back and through the motor up around plintum and back ito the water pump, LEAVE THIS ONT TO THE PROFESSIONAL
