Trying to figure out what other years are compatible with
my 2004 Mini Cooper

2000 to 2006 was the first Generation of the Mini Hatch. But there were so many different trim levels and face lift designs through the years. So it would hard for us to tell you which one to pull a part off of until we know what you are looking for. Mechanically they are the same, if you have the same engine, but body and trim will be different between model years.

I’m assuming your 2004 is a R53 series. That’s where you start. As noted body and interior trim is more likely to be different than mechanical parts.
