I have a 2019 and in desperate need of a hitch / the 2019 Hitch for the Forester is not available / this is incredible a big negligence of Subaru

The 2019 Forester is a New design on a different platform than last years car. You may have to wait until the aftermarket catches up.

Subaru offers the Trailer Hitch Cap as accessory for the 2019 Subaru Forester.

I am in the Aftermarket accessories business and our hitch manufacturer is about 30 days out having a hitch for the 2019 Subaru Forester, I work with several Subaru Dealers and they are in desperate need of Hitches for this Vehicle. and in answer to the original question NO it will not fit.

I was told that in January/ February more options will be made available from 3rd parties.

I was also told that "early in the new year" there will be more available. The 3 dealerships in my area say they have part numbers L101SSJ000, but none are available . The other downside is that specific hitch is 1 1/4" and I need a 2".
