What could be causing battery and brake dash lights to flutter briefly during acceleration AFTER all this work was done?
2005 Maxima SE. Just spent $5,000 at the dealership. They replaced the
ABS actuator, one ABS sensor, all new pads rotors and front calipers, as well
as a couple different sensors in the engine. I fist noticed the issue when in
manual mode and a clearing rapidly in first gear. The shift to second caused
the brake and battery lights to flash, the car lost accelerating power, the Tach
dropped down and then the car lurched forward to normal. There was also a
loud bang. Now, during acceleration in automatic mode the battery/brake
dash lights will flicker/flutter, and at one night the fog lights turned off then
came on. I have yet to test anything myself, and I am petrified that the
dealership will just say the car needs more work. None of these issues were
present before I dropped the car off, and I fear the dealership will not take
ownership of the problems they quite obviously have caused, so I've been
tirelessly searching for some reasonable e plantation so I have some type of
"ammo" in reserve just in case. Thanks for any advice anyone has for me!
