05 Nissan Sentra no start issue

My car runs fine but sometimes will not fire
back up after shutting it down, and after
sitting for however long will fire back up and
run fine.

The two most common problems are the crank sensor/Cam sensor which would factory have a plastic housing, also it could be the fuel positioning sensor which is a part of the Throttle body. To fix the former simply purchase a replacement with a metal housing and then unless you want to fight your arm up behind the motor have a mechanic install it chances are the old one will be melted.
