Why won't the cvt transmission on 2003 Altima go in reverse

The transmission won't go in reverse but it
will go in drive

My 2013 Altima had the same issue with shuddering. I flushed my cvt transmission, found out it had the wrong type Nissan cvt oil. When you pop the hood you will see a tag around where the fan cover area and shows the type of cvt oil. I put in the correct oil from Nissan and haven’t had any more problems. I hope this will help someone out there.
