Release hood and trunk levers

I have a 2000 Boxster X and have lost the keys.  I am inside the car, alarm is
off but I can't lift the levers to open the trunks.  The key is in the trunk!  The
lock key lug nut is in the trunk with the key

Why can't you operate the trunk release? You probably need to call AAA.

Apparently FOR works for AAA because that's the only advice I've seen them dispense.
