My 1972 vw beetle wont start, please help!

Asked by Payton Apr 06, 2019 at 04:38 PM about the 1972 Volkswagen Beetle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I know the battery is shot but it won't even crank. I have tried to pull start it in
the past and it has worked. So, the battery is shot, there must be other
problems. Please Help!

1 Answer

The engine could be seized; take out the engine and disassemble it. My VW has about 500K Miles and has never seized: I take care of it.
