2000 Jetta door light (courtesy light) will not turn off. HELP!!!

My mom's 2000 Jetta just went in for a window repair, we noticed today that the courtesy light- the light on the door will not go off. We're worried that this will drain the battery by morning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!

When they worked on the window they have pinched the wires on the light making it burn. Pop the light cover off and take the bulb out. Take it back to where it was worked on. Should be no charge it's their fault.
