i have a 96 jeep Cherokee and i recently changed my spark plugs and wires and now when I drive my rpm goes up and down and it hesitate some time it even cuts off while im driving. what could be causing this issue

Have a 2003 Ford explorer just the other day it stop driving going like 20 miles no compression in the pedal rpm is a 2 what could be the problem
