Problem with starting
Background info:
So my car has been sitting for awhile, I've
been super busy with school and I didn't
have time to replace my waterpump.
Finally got around to it put it on supper
easy.
Then I sprayed some either to get it started
and I put some higher octane fuel in the
tank(I put 103 I think it was meant for off
roading vehicle) I know I shouldn't have I
thought it was injector cleaner.
But the car started and stayed running for
8 minutes, then died out. So tried starting it
again and nothing, gave it has and no
change in the sound of the motor.
So I thought it was bad gas so I drained
the whole tank and put a gallon of clean
gas and still nothing so I took the fuel filter
off ad when I pulled it off and some black
crumbling debris came out put a new one
on. Then tried starting it and the same
sound from the motor even when pushing
the gas.
Any ideas, I'm kinda lost.
Btw the fuel pump is working because the
way I drained the tan was by undoing the
tan hose from the filter and just turning the
key from off to on (a lot ) and letting the
pump, pump it all out, like it would do to
pressurize the system when you start your
car every time.
