What is suggested problem if a 99 forester with very low miles hesitates well over 10 seconds going into drive but will go into park, reverse, 2nd, 3rd automatic transmission?

First, check the fluid. Second, consider a fluid and filter change.

Yeah, that is about all you will get from it, 114,000. some go more but some don't
