Question type: Maintenance & Repair

At times the right rear door will not unlock with button or remote.  When I unlock it manually, the service engine light goes off.   What is the cause and how do I correct it?

Get a new battery...the new tin/antimony (no lead) batteries will last five years before they play hell with the alternator...so get a new battery that will supply a 300 cold cranking amps potential by wirebrushing the lug to the chassis ground, wirebrush the connection point and the lug and put them back together with your NEW battery...problem will vanish~

the cause is probably caused by an undervoltage condition...power to the ECU being a "brown out" power condition would do this~ get some solid ground to the battery/chassis on that~
