I have a P0016 code and my Q5 will not start?

Have you gone long durations on oil changes? When was the last oil change in relation to this issue starting? You could have a plugged oil control valve due to wrong oil viscosity or waiting too long on oil changes.

The tensioners on these with the 2.0 engine are faulty and Audi does not care. Ours was 5 years old with 78000 miles and no help on the warranty from Audi.

Timing chain failure and catastrophic engine damage. $7k rebuild and Audi won’t help despite knowing its a problem. Hopefully there will be a second wave to the class action.
