i have a 2014 convertable bug. I am confused over the keyless entry..so there is no ignition to put the key into?? Why IS there a key that I can project out??

ignition to put the key into?? Why IS there a key that I can project out??

The actual key is for gaining entery to the car if the keyless entery is not working or if the cars battery dies, so you can jump the battery.

The emergency key will open the drivers door.
