96 Chevy Silverado 1500

Vehicle was missing throughout out of
spade I replace the distributor spark plug
wires spark plugs EGR valve idle air control
valve is still pulling code 1345 which is
crank and cam not in correlation the vehicle
now have to replacing all parts running
down the road it was popping out the
exhaust so I replace the EGR valve and it
was missing and not running so I replace the
idle air control valve I replaced all sensors
on top of the intake I change the upper and
lower intake plenum gasket put it in time
replace the crank sensor now the vehicle
going down the road holding petal study not
all the time but sometimes it's like it let's go
and jerks forward really hard and if I drive it
slow when I first Crank It Up it runs fine but
the first time I got unit it goes to jerk and
enjoy it anyone help me with this problem

1345 is cam to crank correlation. I will bet your misfires are related. Worn timing chain along with worn dist gear are most likely causes. You need to hookup to scanner capable of reading cam position (not ignition timing) and adjust distributor until 0° is found. Note: OEM distributors allow a slight rotation for this calibration. Aftermarket ones are usually fixed and do not allow this. Simply swap out the holddown clamp that allows you to turn distributor and get the 0° cam-to-crank angle needed. Of course, all other components should be inspected for at the same time.
