Receiving text messges on 2018 Forester

I still can not figure out how to receive text
messages on my multimedia screen in my new
2018 Forester. My phone is a Samsung S8. I have
no problems with phone calls.

OMG! What kind of answer is that. I have the same problem. Very annoying never happened in any of my Hondas. I have sat with the manual in the car and done everything it says. Some messages show up, maybe from the day before, but not new ones. I hear the messages come in through my phone but the car will not register them.

Mine was a dealer demo, 2019 Forester and it did not come with a manual. I have tried everything I can think of and it isn't working. I use this for my business and I not having it is very very annoying.
