I need help identifying a part!

Need help identifying this part that lies
underneath my carburetor and has an
electrical wire. I’ve gone to several auto part
stores with no luck! PLEASE HELP!!!

I showed it to my mechanic who is a genius about all things GM. Here's what he said: "that’s a relic from the past! It’s called an “EFE heater” which stands for Early Fuel Evaporation….basically an assist similar to the stovepipe going into the air cleaner housing, but in this case instead of relying on passive heated air to help cold fuel evaporation hey utilized an electric heater under the carb."
